Reception and wall logo signs

Flat cut acrylic, brushed stainless and fabricated logos, stud fixed with a stand off so they cast a shadow line. The highest impact interior sign in most buildings. See our guide for more detail.

The first thing a visitor sees indoors

A reception logo is the interior equivalent of the fascia: it confirms arrival and sets the tone for everything after it. It is also comparatively cheap for the effect it has, because it is a small object in a prominent position.

The detail that makes the difference is the stand off. A logo bonded flat to the wall reads as a sticker. The same logo held 15 to 25mm off the wall casts a soft shadow and reads as an object.

Before you order

The wall matters as much as the logo. Plasterboard will not hold a heavy fabricated logo without pattressing behind it, and a freshly painted wall needs to cure before anything is fixed or bonded. Both are checked at survey rather than discovered on the day.

What we need to quote

  • Vector artwork of the logo
  • Wall width available and the height of the fixing position
  • Wall construction: masonry, plasterboard, glass or timber
  • Any brand colour references
A refined workplace reception desk with a fabricated brushed stainless wall logo reading 'North Studio', letters mounted on stand-offs casting precise natural shadows on a neutral wall.

Material options

Flat cut acrylic

Widest colour range, lightest, most economical. Suits most interiors.

Premium finish, reads as substantial, no maintenance.

Fabricated aluminium

Deeper return, powder coated, can be halo illuminated.

Halo illumination

LED behind the logo washing the wall. Needs a supply behind the fixing position.

Fixing

Common questions

What is the best material for a reception logo?

Flat cut acrylic for the widest colour range and lowest cost, brushed stainless for a premium finish that needs no maintenance, or fabricated aluminium where the logo is to be halo illuminated.

Why fit a reception logo with a stand off?

A logo bonded flat to the wall reads as a sticker. Held 15 to 25mm off the wall it casts a soft shadow and reads as an object, which is most of the effect.

Can a reception logo be fixed to plasterboard?

Only with pattressing behind it for anything heavy. We check the wall construction at survey rather than discovering it on the day.

Branding a reception?

Send the artwork and a photograph of the wall. We will propose materials and a stand off that suits the space.
