Roller banners and portable displays

Cassette roller banners, pop up stands and portable display for events, receptions and presentations, with replaceable graphics so the hardware is reused. See our guide for more detail.

The display you will use most often

A roller banner is the most used piece of display most organisations own: reception, recruitment events, open days, conferences and presentations. It sets up in under a minute and packs into a bag.

The thing worth spending on is the cassette. A cheap mechanism will not retract straight and the graphic curls at the edges within a year. A decent base will outlast several graphics, and the graphic can be replaced on its own for a fraction of a new unit.

Before you order

The bottom 200mm of a roller banner is usually hidden behind furniture, people or a table. Putting the phone number or web address at the very bottom is the commonest design error. Keep essential information in the upper two thirds.

What we need to quote

  • Standard 800mm or a wider format
  • Artwork, or a brief if you want us to design

Options

Standard cassette

800mm or 850mm wide. The everyday format for events and reception.

Heavier base, straighter retraction, replaceable graphic. Worth it for regular use.

Double sided

Graphics both faces, for free standing positions in a room.

Pop up stands

Curved or straight fabric or panel walls for larger stands.

Replacement graphics

Common questions

What size is a standard roller banner?

800mm or 850mm wide is the everyday format, with wider options available. The graphic is replaceable within the same cassette.

Where should key information go on a roller banner?

In the upper two thirds. The bottom 200mm is usually hidden behind furniture, people or a table, so a phone number at the very bottom is the most common design error.

Is a premium cassette worth it?

For regular use, yes. A cheap mechanism will not retract straight and the graphic curls at the edges within a year, whereas a good base outlasts several graphics.

Need portable display?
