Sign installation

Fitting by our own installers, including signage manufactured by somebody else, with access, isolation and making good arranged before the day rather than discovered on it. See our guide for more detail.

The part most suppliers skip

A sign is only as good as the fixing that holds it up, which is why we keep installation in house rather than passing it to a third party. It is also why we are willing to install signage we did not manufacture.

If you have artwork and a manufacturer but no installer, or a sign that has been sitting in a store because nobody will fit it, that is work we take on its own.

Before you book

We will want to survey the fixing before agreeing to install a sign we did not make. That is not a formality: if the substrate will not take the fixing, or the sign has been made to the wrong size, we would rather find out before the access equipment is booked than with a cherry picker on site.

What we need to quote

  • What the sign is and its weight and dimensions
  • The building and the fixing position
  • Whether power and an isolator are already in place
  • Any access, permit or out of hours requirements

Out of hours

Evening and weekend working where the site, highway or building demands it.

Common questions

Will you install a sign made by someone else?

Yes, provided we can survey the fixing beforehand. If the substrate will not take the fixing, or the sign has been made to the wrong size, it is better found before access equipment is booked.

Do you handle the electrical connection?

Yes, connection to an existing supply with an isolator fitted where required, carried out by a qualified electrician.

Can you install out of hours?

Yes. Evening and weekend working where the site, the highway licence or building management access windows demand it.

Got a sign that needs fitting?

Tell us what it is and where it is going. We will survey the fixing before quoting.
