Large format printing

Wide format printing onto vinyl, board, fabric and film, produced in house with artwork checked against the finished size before anything runs. See our guide for more detail.

Printed here, not brokered

Large format printing underpins most of what we make: hoarding, wall graphics, window vinyl, banners, display panels and vehicle wraps all start as a wide format print.

Keeping it in house means we control the schedule and the colour. It also means we check artwork against the finished size before it runs, which catches the low resolution logo or the RGB colour before it becomes a two metre problem.

Before you order

Large format is unforgiving of low resolution artwork and RGB colour. Vector files scale to any size; a logo lifted from a website will not. Send the original artwork and we will check it against the finished dimensions, or redraw the logo if the original has been lost.

What we need to quote

  • Finished size, and the distance it is viewed from
  • Original vector or high resolution artwork
  • What it is being printed onto
  • Interior or exterior, and for how long

Common questions

What file format do you need for large format printing?

Vector artwork wherever possible, because it scales to any size without loss. A logo lifted from a website will not hold up at two metres. We check every file against the finished size before it runs.

What can you print onto?

Self adhesive vinyl, rigid board such as Foamex, Correx, Dibond and acrylic, solid and mesh banner PVC, and tension fabric. Laminating, contour cutting, hemming and mounting are all done in house.

Does artwork need to be CMYK?

Yes. RGB artwork will shift in print, and large format is unforgiving of it. We convert and check colour before running anything.

Something to print?

Send the artwork and the finished size. We will check the file before quoting.
