Temporary signage that still has to survive
Banners are the fastest and cheapest way to put a message somewhere, which is why they are so often specified badly. A banner that will hang for a weekend and one that will hang for a year on an exposed elevation are different products.
Two things decide whether it survives: mesh versus solid, and how it is fixed. Most banner failures are fixing failures rather than material failures.
Before you order
A solid PVC banner on an exposed elevation acts as a sail. Anything large or exposed should be mesh, and eyelets need to be at close centres with bungee rather than cable ties, so the banner can move without tearing at the fixings.

How should a banner be fixed?
