About Smiths 1972
A signage manufacturer with a design agency attached. We have traded from the same part of Hertfordshire since 1972, and we install our own work.
One supplier, every stage
Smiths 1972 began as a high street print shop and grew into a full service creative, print, signage and digital business. The signage side is the part of the company that measures buildings, fabricates trays and letters, prints large format graphics and sends its own installers to fit them.
That matters commercially. When the brand, the artwork, the manufacture and the installation sit with one company, there is nobody to pass a problem to. If a sign does not fit, it is ours to correct. If the artwork needs redrawing to work at three metres wide, we redraw it.
We work for contractors, developers, retailers, schools, facilities managers and independent businesses across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and London.
